Message from Steve Larson

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

I think many have heard by now, but if you haven't; Dan Snow was tragically killed in a auto accident last Saturday morning. It was an accident that happened during the rain which caused the other driver to lose control of his pickup and slide into the opposing traffic where Dan was driving. Dan grew up in our church and for many years, served as our Junior High Youth Pastor. Recently, Dan left to plant a church in Carpinteria. Dan made a wonderful difference in my life and I loved him like a son. His life has impacted so many for the kingdom of God. I know that there are many who will testify of the impact that Dan had in their lives.

For his wife Shawna and his five children, these will be difficult days. For all who knew and loved Dan, It will a painful time.

This Saturday, at 11:00 am we will be having a Memorial Service for Dan. Calvary Community in Westlake has graciously offered their facilities as we believe that our facility would be too small for those who want to celebrate Dan's life. The reception will follow the service. Sandwiches will be provided and if you come, we'd love you to bring a salad or dessert.

Calvary's address is 5495 Via Rocas in Westlake Village, located off the 101 freeway near the Lindero Canyon exit. The phone number at Calvary is 818-991-8040 and their website is calvarycc.org if you need further directions. Parking will be in lots A and B. Flowers may be delivered to Calvary as early as 7:00 AM on Saturday.

Please be in prayer for Shawna, the children and the rest of Dan's family (Mom, Dad and other family). We want to surround them with our prayer and love in the months and years to come.

Let me close by encouraging you with one of Dan's life passages

Jeremiah 29:11-13 For I know the plans I have for you," says the LORD. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. 12In those days when you pray, I will listen. 13If you look for me in earnest, you will find me when you seek me.
